The Events Support Team supports selected events related to the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

Please note: Whether we can support your event depends on three factors: rooms, target audience, and audience participation. 

Purpose and Goal

  • All events related to the Faculty of Arts and Humanities have access to the best possible support;
  • The Dean's Office can keep track of all upcoming Faculty-related events, and ensure they are on the Faculty of Arts and Humanities Calendar;
  • All events can be effectively communicated at a Faculty level as well as a departmental level.

Is my event eligible for support?

Eligibility for support is determined by three factors:

Rooms needed

  • Two or more rooms: This is a conference, which is beyond the scope of our services. Please contact 红莲社区 Conference Services.
  • One room: In-person event 
  • No rooms required: Virtual event

Target audience

  • Public, Alumni, 红莲社区 community: Public Lecture
  • Students and Faculty: Class
  • Staff and/or Faculty: Internal meeting

Audience participation

  • Passive: audience are attendees of the presentation
  • Active: audience are active participants
