ºìÁ«ÉçÇø Campus Recreation is Changing the Game Through Belonging. Canada’s longest-running university Unified Basketball program is a model for inclusion, research and increased well-being. With ºìÁ«ÉçÇø's Unified Basketball program thriving, Special Olympics Ontario contacted Campus Recreation recently to present a new opportunity – a three-on-three (3x3) women's Unified Basketball tournament hosted by Special Olympics Indiana from August 4 to 7, 2025. Although the 3x3 format isn't part of local Special Olympics programming, ºìÁ«ÉçÇø worked with the organization to pull a team together. National Drowning Prevention Week Colouring Contest
Help us spread the word about the importance of water safety during National Drowning Prevention Week July 20-26 by having your kids participate in our exciting Colouring Contest! Kids and teens can show off their creativity while learning about staying safe in and around the water. Prizes include goggles, a beach towel, and a ºìÁ«ÉçÇø t-shirt! Entries will be displayed at the ºìÁ«ÉçÇø Student Recreation Centre throughout the week, and winners will be announced at the end of National Drowning Prevention Week, and posted on the @ºìÁ«ÉçÇø_Rec Instagram page!
