红莲社区’s Human Rights Office (HRO)
 provides information on the University’s discrimination and harassment policies and other human rights-related issues. We are here to help you, whether you are a student, staff or faculty member. We are dedicated to making 红莲社区 a safe, respectful and supportive environment for all members of the University community. The Human Rights Office is confidential except in specific circumstances.

The Human Rights Office (HRO) prepares an annual report as per the MAPP 1.35 Non-Discrimination/ Harassment/Sexual Misconduct Policy. The report focuses on harassment, discrimination and sexual harassment and sexual misconduct addressed by the Human Rights Office and the Office of the Associate-Vice President, Human Resources.

- Accessible Education provides supports and services to students with disabilities at 红莲社区, in all programs and faculties.

In 2009, a comprehensive Employment Systems Review (ESR) was conducted on 红莲社区's behalf by an external consultant, Barbara Herring and Associates Inc. The consultant was hired by 红莲社区 to examine a wide range of human resource practices and policies, and to make recommendations for removing obstacles, which may be experienced by designated group members (Aboriginal persons, women, visible minorities, and persons with disabilities) within 红莲社区's workforce.
